It’s a hard life, working at the poolside!

It’s been a great day here in Sanur, Bali. Most of the day I have been able to work on ‘Fairy Hanny and the Knights in White Satin’. I am often amazed how one page of the original handwritten original can quickly turn into 4 or 5 A4 pages when developed in Word. Page 50 of the notes is now page 109 in the first typed draft.

The original three are also going under review to be marketed under a different pen name – more on that later.

I also managed to swim 15 lengths of the pool – which is only about 12m long. However, two years ago I was in ICU in Turkey as I collapsed with what has been diagnosed as congestive heart failure. The Cardiologist suspects my heart was damaged by Covid which I contracted in 2021 in Baku, Azerbaijan. It annoys me to think that it was a ‘friend’ who came out to dinner that night with coughs and sniffles, who was also then diagnosed with Covid.

Feckem!

Three more blog posts also scheduled for my Fairy Hanny blog – old jokes and reminiscences.

A great day!

I have been a teacher all my life. That doesn't just mean in School! I taught my brothers to ride bikes and go camping in the mountains. I taught Football, Cricket, Squash, Sailing, Climbing and Karate. In BNI I became the Education Coordinator. With my Property Business I laid on Investment Seminars. I taught my sons to Fish for Carp. And I still teach Maths and Physics to students who want to go to University to study Medicine or Engineering. Now I am teaching people the things I am learning online.
